STOP/START CLUSTER
The following command can be used to start or stop a given cluster.
Any job or table that is configured to run on a stopped cluster will not run. Jobs and tables that depend on jobs that are running on a stopped cluster will also be blocked.
Syntax
Stop or start a cluster from the UI
Stop cluster
To stop a running cluster, from the Upsolver main menu, click Clusters. On the Clusters page, select the cluster you want to stop from the list in the table. This opens the monitoring page. In the top right-hand corner of the screen, click the Stop Cluster button to display the confirmation modal. Choose Stop Cluster, and the cluster stops with immediate effect, or Cancel to exit without saving changes.
Optionally, you can click Copy, to copy the code and paste this into a worksheet if you want to run it manually.
Note
A cluster that is paused for longer than the source retention period may result in data loss.
Start cluster
To re-start a stopped cluster, from the Clusters page, click on the cluster you want to resume, and then click the Start Cluster button. This opens the confirmation modal. Click Start Cluster to start the cluster with immediate effect, or Cancel to exit without saving changes.
Alternatively, copy the code into a worksheet and run this manually.
